Our Programs and Services

Robotics and Stem Exploration Programs

Our organization provides extended learning STEM programs that are facilitated by teachers and/or staff from your school or organization. We provide the equipment, teacher training and tech support services, and an engaging year-long STEM curriculum. This year, we will drop 3 FUN mystery STEM challenges as part of our core coding and robotics skill-building curriculum. Teachers will guide students down a path of discovery and innovation with the ultimate goal of learning to leverage emerging educational technologies to research, identify, prototype, and test solutions for a problem that they see in the world.

What will my students learn?

Students will gain important college and career readiness skills and benefit from opportunities such as:

  • Building and coding VEX IQ robots

  • Experiment with CAD design software and 3D printing technology

  • Innovative methods of documenting and sharing learning processes, mock-ups and student work products

  • 21st century learning skills, like collaboration, critical thinking, tenacity and TEAM WORK

  • Obtain real-world STEM industry insight by participating in field trips opportunities to Boston STEM organizations

  • And much more!

At the end of the program, students participate in LSA’s Annual Robotics and Family Science Festival to celebrate their hard work and show off their new coding skills. All students are invited to participate in this celebration, where students display and discuss their products with the community, volunteer judges, and local area STEM organizations participating in the family science fair.

STEM and STEAM Early Education Program

STEM education belongs in classrooms of all sizes. We work with early educators to leverage early educational technologies into their everyday curriculum, with products like Blue Bots! We provide teachers with equipment they need, and an all original K-3 curriculum that has students explore their new technology through fun activities that include multicultural literature and Common Core-aligned math activities. The curriculum uses Blue Bot robots as a vehicle for exploration of early education concepts such as letter recognition, math and spatial awareness, and to lay groundwork for basic coding concepts by developing a familiarity with vocabulary.
